So far, Intel has not laid out its launch plans for its upcoming laptop-bound Lunar Lake processors, nor has it detailed on the launch date for its upcoming desktop successor, Arrow Lake. However, DigiTimes (via Tom’s Hardware) reported that these chips will launch in September and October this year, respectively.
Coming Up: Lunar Lake-V & Arrow Lake-S

The report claims two processor families will be launching later this year, and the first will be the Lunar Lake-V “Core Ultra 200V” series. One such chip was spotted earlier this year in the form of Core Ultra 234V, and it is likely a fan-less version of the Core Ultra 200U chips.
DigiTimes says the Core Ultra 200V will be launching between September 17-24 – perhaps not-so-coincidentally, Intel is hosting its annual Innovation event on September 24-25, so it’s very possible that Intel will be getting into the details of this upcoming processor family. This is only 10 months after Meteor Lake’s launch, though it’s also possible that Intel has decided to launch this early as AMD is launching its Zen 5 “Strix Point” processors two months ahead, which can eat into its laptop sales if it doesn’t respond quickly.
On the desktop side of things, the report alleges that both Arrow Lake-S desktop processors, alongside the upcoming Z890 motherboards, will be release in October this year just like its predecessors. Arrow Lake is the first major redesign in architecture in 3 years, since Intel first introduced the hybrid architecture in 2021 through Alder Lake. It then went through a spec bump through Raptor Lake, of which was given another year of minor refresh with largely the same specs.
Keep in mind that none of these dates have been confirmed by Intel thus far, so take this with a grain of salt if you will. On the other side of the competition, AMD is expected to release Ryzen AI 300 by mid-July, while its Ryzen 9000 will launch by the end of July, with X3D variants said to follow in September.
Pokdepinion: AMD is getting a complete head start this time around – if Arrow Lake couldn’t compete, this might be problematic for Team Blue.
