Acer announced a number of new LED and laser projectors for both personal and business use. These new models include a best-in-class wireless LED 1080p projector with 3,000 lumens of brightness and also high energy-efficiency laser projectors that reach 3,100 lumens.

Acer VD6510i and Acer PD1530i

Acer VD and PD series projectors

The new Acer VD6510i is a wireless 3,000 lumens LED 1080p projector that delivers ultra-smooth 1080p 120Hz projections with 125% coverage of the Rec. 709 color gamut for excellent color saturation and vivid images. The VD6510i is further enhanced by 16x sequential display speed that minimizes rainbow effect, while 3,000 ANSI lumens of brightness enables the projector to produce a crystal clear image even for large screens or in a room with the lights on.

Also with 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness, the Acer PD1530i is a business-oriented projector that was designed around making meetings as convenient as possible. It is a cable free, wireless 1080p LED projector and is capable of throwing a 100-inch screen from a distance of less than 3m. It also has a 30,000 hour lifespan so business users can expect to get many years of use out of the PD1530i projector.

The PD range of projectors will be available in North America starting at USD1099 (RM4559.20) in EMEA starting at EUR1199 (RM5894.09). The VD range of projectors will be available in North America starting at USD1099 (RM4559.20).

Acer XL Series

Acer XL Series projectors

The Acer XL series has three different variants, the XL1220, XL1320W and XL1520. Using only 143 watts of power, the XL series contain some of the most energy-efficient 3,100 lumens laser projectors in the world. The projectors projectors are reliable devices that deliver stunning image quality of up to 1080p and are priced for the mainstream market, making them perfect for use in medium-sized meeting rooms.

The XL Series also has IP6X certification, preventing the ingress of dust or other solid particles that may damage the device. This durability makes the 3,100 lumens projectors capable of being used under any ambient lighting, and combined with a 30,000-hour lifespan, they require remarkably little maintenance.

The XL series also has portrait and 360-degree projection modes to accommodate any sort of space or scenario.

The XL range of projectors will be available in North America starting at USD999 (RM4144.35) in EMEA starting at EUR999 (RM4910.92).

Acer UL5630 and Acer PL series

Acer UL5630 projectors

The Acer UL5630 is designed to overcome the limitations of space, capable of throwing a 120-inch projection from a distance of just 31cm. This ultra-short throw projector is equipped with a new high-quality image laser diode that enables it to project in WUXGA with 4,500 lumens of brightness. The UL5630 also has the ability to project freely in 360 degrees or in
portrait mode.

Acer PL series projector

The Acer PL series on the other hand are low-maintenance laser projectors with a 30,000 hour lifespan and high brightness of 6,000 ANSI Lumens. The Acer PL series also has three different variants (PL7610/PL7610T/PL7510) and are ideal for those working with particularly large venues, such as conferences, boardroom presentations or exhibition stands.

The UL5630 projector will be available in North America starting at USD2099 (RM8707.70) in EMEA starting at EUR1999 (RM9826.75). Meanwhile, the PL7610T projector will be available in North America starting at USD2399 (RM9952.25) in EMEA starting at EUR2499 (RM12284.67).

Pokdepinion: I’ve always wanted too try gaming with a projector. Hook up my PS4 to a projector and just game in bed while looking up at the ceiling.
