ASUS will release the ProArt PA27JCV, a 27-inch 5K IPS monitor designed for professional creators, in early November, the company has announced. Aside from 5K (5120 x 2880) resolution, it is also Calman Verified with Delta E<2 color accuracy, coupled with 99% DCI-P3, 95% Adobe RGB, and 100% sRGB coverage.

The PA27JCV has more tricks up its sleeve: it uses ASUS Light Sync’s ambient light and backlight sensors for consistent color reproduction, while LuxPixel technology helps reduce glare for a “paper-like” screen effect – this anti-glare coating differs from traditional matte displays, which can soften the image to a certain extent. It also supports HDR with VESA DisplayHDR 500 certification and HDR10 compatibility.
Moving on, its built-in Auto KVM switch allows two connected PCs or laptops to share a single keyboard and mouse, further supported with USB-C ports featuring DisplayPort Alt Mode and with 96W Power Delivery, plus HDMI, full-size DisplayPort, and a USB hub located along the bottom bezel for easy access. Based on the spec sheet, the monitor supports all four ways (tilt, swivel, pivot, height) of articulation as well.
Pricing for the ProArt PA27JCV has not been announced at the time of this writing, though it will be announced very soon as we approach November.
