[Computex 2024] Acer Introduces New Smart Monitors, The DA1 & Nitro GA1 Series

Acer has unveiled two new series of versatile smart monitors, the Acer DA1 and Nitro GA1 series – both monitors come available in 31.5- and 27-inch models.

The Acer DA1 series (DA271K and DA321QK) offers 4K resolution, wireless projection and Multiview screen splitting capabilities similar to PBP mode; meanwhile, the new Nitro GA1 series (Nitro GA271U P and Nitro GA321QU P) caters to gamers with QHD panels, a 180 Hz refresh rate, and low input lag for gaming use. Both series feature HDR10 and 250 nits brightness, as well as support for AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility.

Now, they’re called Smart Monitors for a reason – it comes with Google TV which provides access to streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, and more. Wireless is the key here, as these monitors can support screen mirroring, casting, Bluetooth support, and IoT device control. External webcams can be attached for video calls and streaming, and the monitors support VESA mounting for custom installations.

All models will be available in NA and EMEA markets starting Q4 this year, from the price of $329.99.

Pokdepinion: On the surface, they seem like similar products to the ones from Samsung.
