GAMEMAX has recently introduced its first QD-OLED gaming monitor, the Vision GMX32UCDM, which features a 31.5-inch 4K 240Hz display courtesy of Samsung’s third-generation QD-OLED panel. This means this relatively small Chinese brand is officially entering the high-end display market competing with the likes of MSI, ASUS and GIGABYTE.

Like other monitors in its weight class, the Vision GMX32UCDM also comes with HDR capabilities with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, along with NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support. The company says the monitor is also factory-calibrated for color accuracy, achieving Delta E <2 and 99% DCI-P3 coverage.

For I/O, there’s a USB-C port with 90W power delivery for single-cable connection to laptops, plus a pair of USB-A ports (split from a single USB-B upstream port) for data connection. Display connectivity includes a pair of HDMI 2.1 ports plus a single DisplayPort 1.4 port, the latter of which doesn’t support its native resolution and refresh rate configuration (since it maxes out at 4K 120Hz).
The GAMEMAX Vision GMX32UCDM QD-OLED gaming monitor will be available for $1,099, with the manufacturer promising an 18-month warranty – that’s half of the 3-year duration offered by major gaming monitor makers today, though.
Pokdepinion: The price tag seems a bit high for the specs and warranty it offers.
