The GIGABYTE S55U is a Monstrous 55-inch 4K Gaming Monitor
The GIGABYTE S55U has officially been launched, and it’s a 55-inch 4K gaming monitor that can practically replace any TV given its sheer size. To be precise, it’s 54.6-inches and is powered by Android, if you’re very particular about the finer details.

The refresh rate maxes out at 120Hz and it has a response time of 2ms to 5ms. Apart from that, it has support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos, and DTS HD.
For connectivity, the GIGABYTE S55U will come with two HDMI 2.1 ports with one support eARC, two HDMI 2.0 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a USB 2.0 port, a headphone jack, a LAN port, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. In case you’re wondering, it does have built-in 10W speakers.
To improve your viewing experience, you do get some built-in software which includes Aim Stabilizer Sync, Crosshair, Black Equalizer, 6-axis Colour Control, Noise Reduction, and more.
At the moment, pricing and availability is unknown as GIGABYTE Malaysia has yet to announce it. We will report more on this as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.
Pokdepinion: Now I’m not sure if I would go for this or the 48-inch one. Probably given size constraints, might go for the smaller one but if price isn’t much different, then I suppose why not.
