GPD Win 3 Is A Handheld Gaming PC Powered By 11th Gen Intel Processors

Recently announced on Indiegogo. the GPD Win 3 is a handheld gaming PC that features 11th Gen Intel processors and Intel Xe Graphics. It has a design that’s very Nintendo Switch-esque with a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720 IPS touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass 5 that slides out to reveal keyboard underneath.

It also has game controllers on the left and right side with all the buttons and functions you would expect from controllers. The game controllers also come equipped with dual vibration motors.

As mentioned before, the GPD WIn 3 comes with either an Intel Core i5-1135G7 or Intel Core i7-1165G7 processors as well as Intel 12th generation Iris Xe Graphics. The handheld gaming PC also comes with 16 GB LPDDR4x 4266 MHz memory, 1TB M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD, Thunderbolt 4, and WiFi 6. Moreover, it has support for A2-level microSDXC card and Bluetooth 5.0 which can connect to up to 7 Bluetooth devices.

The GPD WIn 3 comes equipped with a 44W battery that supports 65W PD 2.0 protocol fast charging. It can be fully charged in just one and a half hours and can last up to 3 hours with heavy gaming, up to 8 hours with moderate use and up to 11 hours with light use. The GPD Win 3 also features a dock which can be used to connect external devices.

As for cooling, the GPD Win 3 features a super turbofan for PC + dual heat pipe heat dissipation solution that also comes with PWM control.

The GPD Win 3 currently comes in two variants; a black variant and a limited edition silver variant. Prices go for USD799 (RM3,236.76) for the Intel Core i5-1135G7 and USD899 (RM3,641.86) for the Intel Core i7-1165G7 version. You can check them out via their Indiegogo page right here.

Pokdepinion: This looks mighty interesting. I’ve always wanted a viable way to play my PC games on the go and this might just be it. While Steam Link does scratch that itch somewhat, it’s still not perfect for me.
