It’s been almost two full years since AMD has unveiled the RDNA3-based GPUs, but it turns out this architecture still has a bit left in the tank. Benchlife claims that Team Red will be launching another new mid-range model, the Radeon RX 7650 GRE, sometime in 2025.
AMD Radeon RX 7650 GRE Reveal In CES 2025?

Benchlife previously reported that AMD will be revealing the RDNA4 generation in the coming CES 2025 (which will feature 4 SKUs), but a more recent rumor points to Team Red launching the Radeon RX 7650 GRE along with the next-gen products. However, the publication’s source suggest that a reveal in CES is uncertain.
In case you didn’t know, GRE stands for ‘Golden Rabbit Edition’, which is originally intended for Chinese markets as 2023 was the year of the rabbit in Chinese zodiac system. However, GRE models has since been sold internationally, starting with the RX 7900 GRE.
The internals of the RX 7650 GRE is expected to be Navi 33 contrary to earlier rumors; however, it’s unclear if it will be Navi 33 XT or Navi 33 XL – either way, the core count will not increase from the existing RX 7600 series, given that Navi 33 itself is already maxed out at 2048 SPs in the form of both RX 7600 variants.
