ASUS Unveils RTX 40 SUPER & Radeon RX 7600 XT Lineup

As both Team Green and Team Red announced new GPUs this week at CES 2024, ASUS has announced its latest offerings: the NVIDIA RTX 40 SUPER series consists of a whopping 29 variants among three silicons, while the sole AMD Radeon GPU comes in two flavors.

Starting with the expansive NVIDIA RTX 40 SUPER series lineup, ASUS will be offering 29 variants, including default, factory-overclocked, white-colored, and hidden connectors under four families. Here’s the full list of SKUs available under ROG STRIX, TUF Gaming, ProArt, and DUAL lineup:

Notably, the lineup includes two new “BTF” designs – this is the new initiative from the company to introduce backside/hidden connector designs through its new motherboard, cases, and GPUs. They come with a special in-line connector next to the PCIe 4.0 x16 connector that replaces the 12VHPWR connector for power delivery, which requires compatible motherboards to work. For the RTX 4070 DUAL variant, there’s a second ‘EVO’ model that features a shorter GPU length, which should allow better case compatibility.

Meanwhile, the AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT will be getting two variants from ASUS, under the TUF Gaming and ASUS DUAL model. Both come with 0dB mode, with the TUF Gaming model coming at 2.96-slot thick – and given its power draw, cooling is pretty much a non-issue for this card. For SFF builds, the ASUS DUAL RX 7600 XT should fit within most space-constrained builds with relative ease.

Pokdepinion: Plenty of choices to choose from Team Green – and anyone’s interested in BTF variants?
