[CES 2024] MSI’s RTX 40 SUPER Lineup Features A Founders Edition Lookalike

MSI has unveiled its lineup of NVIDIA’s recently-announced RTX 40 SUPER GPUs, featuring the RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and RTX 4070 SUPER. Notably, of five variants showcased today, one of them took inspiration from NVIDIA’s very own Founders Edition design.

Leading the pack is the SUPRIM series, with MSI’s TRI FROZR 3S cooling system that features Torx Fan 5.0 and 10 heat pipes, with the RTX 4080 SUPER SUPRIM integrating vapor chamber into its design as well. Next in line is the EXPERT series, the company’s latest addition to its AIB lineup – and just like the FE card, it features a push-pull fan design with vapor chamber complementing the cooling system, plus a patented fan design. Its chassis is built with aluminum die-casting process for enhanced rigidity.

Down the line, you have GAMING TRIO and GAMING SLIM, both available in black or white colors to fit any color-specific builds. They share similar cooling characteristics, including the TRI FROZR 3 cooling system with nickel-plated copper baseplate, flow-through design, and RGB lighting. The base model VENTUS is available in either triple-fan or dual-fan variants, which comes with the previous-gen Torx Fan 4.0 design. The VENTUS 2X in particular is also available in white for white-colored builds.

The new lineup will launch according to dates set by NVIDIA, starting with base model RTX 4070 this January 17th.
