Here are the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti cards and their prices in Malaysia
Yesterday, the embargo on the reviews of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti cards were lifted. You can read our review of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition too. But if you want to buy one, you will have to get them from NVIDIA’s partners that offer their cards here in Malaysia. These are the prices that we received via press releases or spotted on social media.
GIGABYTE – from RM6099
GIGABYTE’s lineup of GeForce RTX 3080 Ti cards in Malaysia range from their basic EAGLE series up to the creator-oriented VISION OC option. It appears that GIGABYTE Malaysia won’t be bringing in their flagship AORUS cards to Malaysia just yet, so if you want something even more impressive from GIGABYTE, you might have to wait.
It is interesting how GIGABYTE decided to bank on the popularity of the GIGABYTE VISION cards’ white aesthetics to offer it at RM370 more than the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GAMING OC, despite both cards sharing nearly identical specifications. Speaking of being identical, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti cards from GIGABYTE share their coolers with the GeForce RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 cards in their lineup, but that definitely isn’t surprising at all.
[UPDATE 4/6/2021: AORUS GeForce RTX 3080 Ti are coming next week!]
GIGABYTE will also be adding the AORUS GeForce RTX 3080 Ti MASTER and AORUS GeForce RTX 3080 Ti XTREME. The pricing is also significantly higher, but you do get a cool LCD panel on the side of the card, as well as a much more aggressive aesthetic.

MSI – from RM8499
MSI will only be offering their overclocked cards here in Malaysia. We have the VENTUS 3X, Gaming X Trio and Suprim X cards here, with prices starting from RM8499. The main difference between the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Gaming X Trio and the GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 Gaming X Trio is its metal backplate instead of the graphene-based backplate found on the older Gaming X Trio cards.

ASUS – from RM5860
ASUS has once again dropped the most affordable cards today The ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is the only card thus far that meets the RM5680 MSRP NVIDIA set for the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. If you want a factory overclock with your card, be prepared to pay an additional RM2010, which I am pretty sure no one will.
However if the previous GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 launches were anything to go by, these low MSRP prices will only be available on launch day, with the next batches seeing much higher price tags. Still, the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 30 series cards have proven to be absolutely amazing in terms of cooling, so this is definitely a great opportunity to get one of the best RTX 3080 Ti cards in the market.
ASUS will also be offering the air-cooled ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3080 Ti as well as the liquid-cooled ROG Strix LC GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The hybrid coolers were introduced with the ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6000 series, but it seems that ASUS saw that it will be a good idea to offer the green camp a similar solution too. There are slight differences in its aesthetics, but performance should be very similar.
At least now ASUS can claim that the ROG Strix family have the best cooling in their lineup, because the air-cooled ROG Strix cards just weren’t cutting it. Speaking of which, aside from the ROG Strix LC cards, ASUS has reused the same cooler designs from their GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 cards.

[UPDATE 4/6/2021: ZOTAC and PALIT GeForce RTX 3080 Ti coming]
ZOTAC – from RM6099
ZOTAC also lifted the wraps off the pricing for their latest GeForce RTX 3080 Ti cards, and they too offer a non-OC and OC card with a huge price gap of RM1250.
Their flagship GeForce RTX 3080 Ti AMP Holo is a sweet RM7999. The main difference between the AMP Holo and Trinity cards are their designs, with both of them featuring rather similar triple-fan cooling solution.

Pokdepinion: It seems that the RM5680 MSRP set by NVIDIA is really quite ambitious, most cards are well above it.
