With days of leaks on Intel’s upcoming GPU, the question now is how fast they’d be. According to leaker Golden Pig Upgrade, both the Intel Arc B580 and B570 will be faster than NVIDIA’s mid-range RTX 4060 Ti, and the same applies to AMD’s upcoming “Navi 44” GPU as well.

Intel & AMD Takes On RTX 4060 Ti?

Golden Pig Upgrades wrote in Weibo, “[Intel Arc] B580/B570 and [AMD] Navi 44 are right – small GPU makers are supposed to fight in the mid- and budget-tier segments.” To which, one user inquired whether both vendors will put up a fight against the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, and the response is: “They’re ought to win in terms of benchmark scores.”

So, positive news if you’re looking for a good midranger, but the most crucial metric in this segment is price-to-performance. Intel’s track record has been decent with its Arc Alchemist series offering better value over both Team Green and Team Red; though it had to make big price undercuts due to its relatively weak driver support at the time.

As a side note, there are relatively limited information available on AMD’s upcoming GPU plans, short for the company’s lack of intention to fight Blackwell at the uber-enthusiast segments (like the RTX 5090). Two silicon variants exists in the form of Navi 48 and Navi 44 – other than that, not much is known for now – but we may get some information by the time CES 2025 arrives this coming January.
