MSI Confirmed to Bring Low-Profile Intel ARC A380 Graphics Card

Despite recent rumours, it appears that MSI has broken their silence and confirmed that their bringing the Intel ARC A380 graphics card. It’s a low-profile card with a dual-fan setup on a seemingly thin heatsink and it will be shipped out with their own prebuilt systems.

From what we understand thus far, it doesn’t seem like MSI’s Intel ARC A380 graphics card has any overclocking of any kind as it appears to be running on the default settings. Which means we can expect 8 XE cores, 75W TDP, 2,000MHz boost clock, 6GB GDDR6 with speeds of up to 15.5Gbps and memory bandwidth of 185GB/s on a 96-bit memory bus. For ports, it should bave one DisplayPort 2.0 and one HDMI 2.0b port.

Since it’s made for MSI prebuilt systems, it will not be available for the masses on its own, and it will only be available in China for now. These systems will start from USD $532 (RM2,370.06) up to USD $650 (RM2,895.75) with specifications going from Intel Core i3-10105F to i5-12400F.

Pokdepinion: To be fair, I’m about pretty sure many people will still stick to familiar products even if it is massively available. Going for a limited release will increase interest and spark curiosity, but I hope the performance is worth the price at least.
