MSI has announced its new lineup GeForce RTX 5050-powered graphics cards, consisting of GAMING, VENTUS, and SHADOW models. All three models are exclusively offered in dual-fan configurations.
MSI RTX 5050 Series
In case you missed it, the NVIDIA GeFore RTX 5050 features 2,560 CUDA cores, 130W TGP, and previous-gen GDDR6 memory with 8GB capacity. Clock speed varies depending on model, although stock models are rated for 2.57GHz; power is delivered via a single PCIe 8-pin connector.

As for MSI’s lineup, starting with the GAMING series – it features a dual-fan design with TWIN FROZR 10 thermal solution with STORMFORCE Fans carried from bigger models; the mid-range VENTUS series adopts a more minimalist look for users who prefer clean and practical builds. Finally, the SHADOW series is the base model that MSI says is “optimized for small form factor builds”, though from the looks of it the physical footprint aren’t too far off the other two, as all are dual-fan, dual-slot cards.
MSI has so far announced local pricing for two models:
– GeForce RTX™ 5050 8G VENTUS 2X OC: RM1199
– GeForce RTX™ 5050 8G SHADOW 2X OC: RM1189
