At this point, we’ve known quite a few things surrounding NVIDIA’s next-generation GPUs (codenamed Blackwell), and it is presumed that Team Green will be unveiling the new lineup in CES 2025 this coming January – now, leaker @kopite7kimi has added a bit more fuel to the figurative rumor fire.

RTX 50 Coming Soon?

The leaker simply left a very simple tweet: “We will meet GeForce of Blackwell soon.” We’re still realistically two months away from a proper announcement, so what does the word “soon” means here? It’s likely that NVIDIA may “announce” the announcement to cook up the hype.

For the record, the chipmaker has already confirmed to attend CES 2025 with a keynote from none other than leather jacket man Jensen Huang himself, but the subject of the keynote has not been reveal thus far. Meanwhile, leaks indicate that RTX 5090 will be the first to be launched, followed by RTX 5080 and subsequent models with their launch window spread across January to March next year.

In any case, if what kopite7kimi alleges is true – we may see teasers of the RTX 50 series reasonably soon, since we’re still early in the November.

Pokdepinion: It’s not going to hurt that NVIDIA surely has a lot of budget to spend for the marketing.
