After hopes of making yet another quick buck, the RTX 4080 scalpers have been having issues selling off the graphics card, and they can’t return it either.

RTX 4080 Scalpers’ Conundrum

It’s no surprise that scalpers took advantage of the situation when they got their hands on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 in hopes of making a quick buck. After all, demand for new graphics card will always be high at launch but in the case of this one, they are having trouble selling it off.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 is still largely in stock across a variety of retailers, likely due to its high retail price of USD $1,200. In fact, you can easily find one online for around or slightly above the suggested retail price, which is definitely much better when we saw older cards being scalped for at least three times the price easily.

As a result, these scalpers are selling off the cards at the suggested retail price, with some even going a little lower than that. Interestingly, some of them tried to return them to the retailers they purchased it from, prompting those retailers to amend their terms and conditions.

YouTuber Moore’s Law is Dead on Twitter pointed out that Newegg isn’t letting buyers return the cards for refunds. With different AIB partners launching more cards and the pending arrival of the AMD Radeon RX 7900 series GPUs, the scalpers will have a tough time trying to flourish in this area for some time.
