Keychron C100 8K Has Macros For Days
Appropriately, Keychron has named this as Keychron C100 8K Giant Custom Macro Pad – the 10×10 grid offers exactly 100 mechanical keys with Keychron Apex switches underneath by default, though true to the spirit of mechanical keyboards, you can bring your own MX-compatible switches as you see fit. It’s got RGB (that’s a given), and a fold out feet that should make pressing the top row less of an ergonomic nightmare.
Software-wise, it’s handled by QMK firmware and Keychron’s web-based customization tool, and you can customize RGB and polling rate – which goes to 8000Hz because you don’t want the tiniest of delays when you’re hitting that sick macro combo in Adobe Premiere – from the same place as well.
Granted, this is very much a product designed for a highly-specific niche that is largely cornered by the likes of aforementioned Elgato Stream Deck, since there are very little use cases for someone to require this many macro keys (and some brands, like Razer, allows you to use any of its keyboard as a huge macro pad as well).
If you’re exactly a part of the niche this product is targeting, the Keychron C100 8K can be had at $64.99 (~RM264); as far as we’re aware, this product is not listed in Keychron Malaysia’s website, so you’ll most likely need to import one if do you need one of these.
Pokdepinion: Even I think this is a bit overkill, but it’s not even that expensive all things considered.
