Razer has announced the Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile Tenkeyless 8KHz (that’s a long name), which the company describes as the world’s first low-profile analog optical esports keyboard. To summarize, the new model pretty much looks like a squished version of the original Huntsman V3 Pro TKL with all the features intact.
Meet Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Low-Profile Tenkeyless 8KHz
The keyboard has already gone through the tests and trials in Counter-Strike 2 competition before Razer has made the model known – at BLAST Bounty Season 2, MOUZ player Lotan “Spinx” Giladi used the unreleased keyboard en route to a championship win, where he also earned the first HLTV MVP award of his career.

The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Low-Profile Tenkeyless 8KHz is built around new Razer Low-profile Analog Optical Switches, which features a lowered adjustable actuation between 0.1mm and 2.8mm (as opposed to 4.0mm in standard models) to help minimize finger movement for quicker reaction times. With lower overall height of 19.5mm, it also helps with ergonomics as well, reducing the need for a wrist rest seen in most keyboards.

Like its full-height counterpart, there’s Rapid Trigger Mode, Snap Flex, Dynamic Keystroke, Instant Cancel Control, and Dual-Keypress Priority for faster and more accurate action inputs, along with SOCD (Snap Tap) for games that permit the feature. The keyboard supports 8000Hz HyperPolling that cuts average latency down to 0.39ms when combined with 0.1mm actuation distance, which the company claims is 52% faster than the nearest competing keyboard tested.
The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Low-Profile Tenkeyless 8KHz is priced at RM1,149 and is available now at Razer.com, RazerStores, and select retailers worldwide.
Pokdepinion: Good to see the low-profile crowd gets a share of the benefits in keyboard development.
