Esports World Cup (EWC) organizer Esports Foundation and Lenovo announced an expanded partnership under which Lenovo becomes a Global Partner of the Esports World Cup 2026 (EWC26), supplying Legion gaming devices for use throughout the event.
Unlike previous two editions, EWC26 is being held in Paris for the first time; the multi-discipline tournament is now ongoing, having started from 6 July and concludes on 23 August, with more than 2,000 players and 200 esports teams from over 100 countries competing for titles in 24 games and prizes totaling $75 million.
Lenovo Responsible For EWC26 Competition Hardware
As part of the Founding Partner arrangement, Lenovo is providing Legion desktop PCs and monitors for use in competition arenas, training facilities, broadcast studios and festival spaces during the seven-week event. Players at EWC26 will use Legion Tower 7i and Tower 5i desktop PCs, along with Legion monitors, during competition.
Lenovo joined EWC as the sponsor since 2025, during which more than 2,000 Legion devices were used across tournament operations, broadcast studios and festival activities in Riyadh at the time. Legion branding appeared across all 24 game titles featured in that edition, with broadcasts reaching an estimated 750 million people across multiple regions and languages.

Lenovo even cited the partnership as the reason for inspiring the Legion Pro Rollable Concept laptop, featuring a 16-inch PureSight OLED display that can expand horizontally to 21.5 inches and 24 inches, which according to the laptop maker is “designed for esports athletes who need a single portable device that allows them to train for high-level competitions around the world.” The concept was shown earlier this year at CES 2026 and will be available for attendees to view at the Legion booth during EWC26.
As part of this deal, the Legion branding will appear across EWC26 broadcasts and event spaces, including the Legion Gauntlet stage and festival zones featuring Legion laptops, tablets and peripherals; fans attending the event will have opportunities to win Legion hardware through onsite challenges, and Legion channels will feature content related to players and equipment used during the competition. Lenovo will also be included in the event’s broader promotional campaign throughout the event.
