COLORFUL announced the launch of its Intel B860 Series motherboards, which include the iGame B860M ULTRA, CVN B860M GAMING FROZEN, and CVN B860I GAMING FROZEN models. These motherboards are designed for mid-range systems powered by Intel’s new Core Ultra 200 series desktop processors.

COLORFUL B860 Series Motherboards

Starting off, the COLORFUL iGame B860M ULTRA motherboard comes in a micro-ATX form factor featuring distinctive white and silver design; it features three M.2 slots, including one PCIe Gen5 and two PCIe Gen4, along with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. Its 12+1+1+1 stage (60A) VRM is claimed to work with Intel Core Ultra 9 265K processor – a typo of course, but it should be able to feed 250 watts of power both chips demand. Elsewhere, the motherboard also supports overclocked DDR5 memory with speeds up to 9200 MT/s.

Meanwhile, the CVN B860M GAMING FROZEN and CVN B860I GAMING FROZEN models feature a military-inspired design in silver and black, though specs differ from this point on: the micro-ATX CVN B860M GAMING FROZEN includes three M.2 slots, with one PCIe Gen5 and two PCIe Gen4 slots, with the same VRM setup as the iGame B860M ULTRA motherboard. It only supports Wi-Fi 6 for wireless connectivity, however.

As for the mini-ITX CVN B860I GAMING FROZEN motherboard, it features two M.2 slots, with one PCIe Gen5 slot at the front and one PCIe Gen4 slot at the back, though VRM setup is different to account for limited space of this form factor. This one comes with an 8+1+1+1 stage VRM, though each power stage is beefier with 90A rating to maintain similar power delivery capabilities as its bigger models.
