GIGABYTE W480 VISION serves up premium workstation features like ECC and Thunderbolt 3

GIGABYTE has just announced the workstation-oriented W480 VISION series motherboard. The new motherboard is designed for the new Intel Xeon W and 10th Gen Intel Core processors, with a plethora of workstation features like ECC memory support, Thunderbolt 3 and fast WiFi 6 connectivity.

Aside from that, the W480 VISION D supports multi-GPU configurations with an optimized PCIe slot spacing. This allows creators to easily setup multiple GPUs without compromising the cooling of the GPUs.

GIGABYTE designed the board with PCIe 4.0 grade PCB, PCIe slots, M.2 slots and controller to ensure that you would be getting maximum stability. Do note that current 10th Gen Intel Core processors do not support PCIe 4.0, so this board is designed to be overkill.

Speaking of the M.2 slots, the M.2 PCIe drives will be well cooled by a massive heatspreader that extends all over the PCIe area. There’s support for SATA DOM drives too. Meanwhile for networking, GIGABYTE built the W480 VISION series motherboards with support for 2.5 GbE and 1 GbE networks, with both LAN ports powered by Intel NICs.

Last but not least, GIGABYTE equipped the boards with the ALC 1220-VB CODEC and WIMA FKP2 studio-grade audio capacitors for studio-grade, high quality audio, allowing content creators to create or enjoy high quality, studio-grade sound.

The GIGABYTE VISION series is to slot in alongside the GIGABYTE AORUS boards, as more creator-centric offerings versus the gaming-oriented AORUS motherboards.

Pokdepinion: Well the board seem pretty interesting but for some reason the GIGABYTE W480 VISION D isn’t listed on the official website yet.
