Logitech announced two new gaming peripherals in the form of G304 X SUPERLIGHT wireless gaming mouse and G316 X 98 wired mechanical keyboard in Malaysia, completing the G3 Series alongside the previously launched G325 wireless gaming headset. As the naming convention suggests, these are aimed for mid-range segments in the gaming market.
Logitech G304 X SUPERLIGHT
The Logitech G304 X SUPERLIGHT is based on the existing G304 form factor, updated with the company’s HERO 44K sensor with 44,000 DPI resolution, 40G max acceleration, and 678 IPS max speed. While the shape is the same as the vanilla G304, the chassis is reworked to weigh in the range of 59-61g this time, in line with most mainstream esports-focused mice today. Notably, the chassis also features exposed screws that Logitech says is intended for user repairs.
It supports three connection modes (2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.3, and wired USB-C), and for wireless in particular, it features optional 8,000Hz polling rate support via the PRO LIGHTSPEED receiver, sold separately. Battery life is rated at 130+ hours with its onboard 480mAh Li-ion cell, with a two-minute charge via USB-C claimed to provide up to 3.5 hours of use.
Logitech G316 X 98
The Logitech G316 X 98, meanwhile, is a wired 98-key mechanical keyboard with the same 8,000Hz polling rate that cuts response time down to a virtually-instantaneous figure of 0.125ms. Its multi-layer snap-fit gasket construction requires no screws and is designed to produce a dampened “thock” keystroke sound. Like many other models, the keyboard includes hot-swappable switches and is compatible with cross-hatch stem keycaps for further customization.
Aside from the keys themselves, the keyboard comes included with an onboard dot-matrix LED display and a translucent rotary dial for adjusting report rate, brightness, and media playback; lighting is customizable across 30 light bar zones and individual keys via LIGHTSYNC RGB, with macro and key assignment support available through Logitech G HUB software.
Pricing & Availability
The Logitech G304 X SUPERLIGHT and G316 X 98 are expected to be available on 21 June 2026, in Black and White colors. The former is priced at RM339, while the latter is priced at RM399, both of which are available at LogitechG.com, Shopee, Lazada, and authorized retailers.
