ASUS is continuing its ROG 20th anniversary celebrations at gamescom 2026 with a new ROG Edition 20 product showcase, a schedule of fan events and guest appearances, and hands-on demos of upcoming games at its Cologne booth.

The booth will feature oversized display models of the ROG XBOX Ally X20 and ROG Zephyrus Duo – the former is a special ROG Edition 20 version of the gaming handheld, which will be featured as part of the showcase lineup along with ROG G1000 Edition 20 desktop PC, ROG SLASH Hard-Case Luggage Edition 20, ROG SLASH Backpack Edition 20, ROG SAGA OMNI Edition 20 action figure, and a new board game titled ROG SAGA: In Search of Lapuntu Edition 20. You’ll also find the ROG Zephyrus Duo alongside other gaming hardware on-site.
ASUS will host a schedule of stage and community events throughout gamescom 2026, including live giveaways, talent performances, and gaming competitions featuring Team Vitality (which it sponsors via ROG). In partnership with SpecialEffect, the company will offer a charity bundle featuring collectible items to support gamers with disabilities, with further details to be announced at a press event later this month.
DJ Alan Walker will host a meet-and-greet followed by a live performance at the ROG booth on 26 August. GTA V actor Ned Luke (aka Michael De Santa) will make appearances on 26 and 27 August, including a meet-and-greet on 27 August. Visitors can also take photos with ROG mascot OMNI throughout the week, while Team Vitality will headline a gaming competition livestreamed for fans. A separate giveaway event allows fans to earn gifts and raffle entries by completing activities, and ASUS has invited 50 fans from Western Europe to attend the event in-person.
Visitors to the ROG booth can test upcoming games on ROG hardware, including the ROG XBOX Ally X20 and ROG Zephyrus Duo, with titles such as Minecraft Dungeons II available for play. Cosmo Tales will offer players an exclusive in-game ROG skin for trying the game on-site. Additional titles featured at the booth include Capcom’s PRAGMATA, Resident Evil Requiem, and Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, along with Ascend to Zero and TANUKI: Pon’s Summer.

Pokdepinion: Too bad the celebration is marred by terrible hardware prices (even by ROG standards), but at least it’s something worth checking out.
