The ROG G1000 flagship gaming desktop is now available in Malaysia, bringing two new technologies that ASUS Republic of Gamers claims redefine both performance and aesthetics in a pre-built system. The ROG G1000 is built around an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, targeting gamers and content creators who want top-tier hardware in a purpose-engineered chassis.
ROG G1000 AniMe Holo and ROG Thermal Atrium Explained

AniMe Holo is described by ROG as the world’s first holographic fan system in a pre-built gaming desktop. Three X-shaped holographic fans form the centrepiece of the design: a 380mm fan on the side panel carries 720 LEDs, while two 215mm fans on the front panel each carry 404 LEDs. The fans support 16.77 million colours and integrate with ROG’s Armoury Crate software, allowing users to display custom text, system statistics, or animations.
Each fan operates within its own isolated module to minimise vibration and noise interference. ROG Thermal Atrium is equally notable. It is a dedicated cooling chamber that houses the 420mm AIO radiator and three 140mm intake fans separately from the main chassis, giving the CPU cooler direct access to fresh ambient air that has not been warmed by other components. ROG says this design lowers CPU intake temperatures by up to 16 degrees Celsius during extended gaming sessions.
The G1000 uses a Tri-zone Airflow design across the entire chassis. The GeForce RTX 5080 GPU draws cool air through dedicated front and bottom intakes, and the 1000W 80+ Gold power supply has its own independent airflow path from beneath the chassis. By keeping these thermal zones separate, ROG aims to reduce heat transfer between components and maintain quieter operation under load.
