As opposed to the original M.2 2280 form factor (the number indicates dimensions, in this case 22x80mm), the Kingston NV3 M.2 2230 measures just 22x30mm, though it features identical specs across the board, including the single-sided design to keep its thickness at a minimum for aforementioned devices. This means the same PCIe 4.0 x4 interface, with sequential read and write speeds of up to 6,000MB/s and 5,000MB/s respectively (depending on capacity).

Given the confines of single-sided M.2 2230 form factor, this means the M.2 2230 version of the drive will not be available in 4TB capacity, though you still have three options to choose from, which include 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB. Endurance ratings are rated at 160TBW (terabytes written), 320TBW, and 640TBW respectively. The NV3 SSD also includes a one-year free license for Acronis True Image for Kingston as part of the purchase.

The Kingston NV3 M.2 2230 is priced at RM199 for the 500GB model, followed by RM299 for the 1TB model, and RM549 for the 2TB variant.
