This portable SSD weighs just 29 grams and fits in the palm of a hand thanks to its ultra-compact footprint, making it highly portable for field work. Despite its small size, it is rated with read speeds up to 1,050MB/s (USB 3.2 Gen 2 support required on host device) and storage capacities up to 2TB.

In a press statement, Kingston says: “We take pride in receiving the Red Dot Design Award as it highlights our commitment to sleek and portable storage solutions. We designed the XS1000 with the user in mind, offering unparalleled portability for those who value both convenience and performance.”

To celebrate the award, Kingston is running a promotion from June 25 to July 8, offering customers an RM15 voucher with the purchase of any XS1000 Portable SSD at selected stores. Vouchers are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
