PNY Malaysia Brings Merdeka Promotions On Select XLR8 SSDs

Fusion Tech Supply (FTSMY) Sdn Bhd, PNY’s local distributor, officially launches the limited-time Merdeka promotion for its XLR8 Gaming SSDs. The offer applies to both CS3030 and CS3040 SSD, applicable to all retailers and official online stores.

Originally priced at RM429, the PNY XLR8 Gaming CS3030 (2TB capacity) runs on the PCIe 3.0 protocol providing a maximum throughput of 3500MB/s sequential read and 3000MB/s of sequential write performance; it comes with 1GB of DRAM cache to help with sustained read/write speeds. Under the promotion, the CS3030 2TB is now discounted to RM345.

Meanwhile, the direct successor of the aforementioned model, the PNY XLR8 Gaming CS3040 (2TB) features updated controller that supports the bandwidth offered by PCIe 4.0. It’s capable of read speeds at 5600MB/s and writes at 4300MB/s, and like the predecessor it also comes with 1GB of DRAM onboard. The promotional price of CS3040 2TB is now RM355, from the original price of RM469.

All models are eligible for 5-year warranty coverage – Malaysian owners can process the warranty directly through Fusion Tech Supply Sdn Bhd provided the package comes with a yellow label as seen in the image above.
