Alibaba.com held the grand finale of CoCreate Pitch 2026 Malaysia on 16 October 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, marking Malaysia’s inaugural participation in the global product-based startup competition. The event was co-organized with MATRADE and formed part of the B2B AI Seller Summit, where Alibaba.com also officially launched Accio, its enterprise-grade agentic AI platform designed for small and medium enterprises.

The CoCreate Pitch 2026 Malaysia Final drew more than 2,300 applications from MSMEs, startups, aspiring entrepreneurs, and student innovators across the country. Ten teams were selected to compete in the Grand Final, with Lettuboost taking first place, Global Cerah finishing second, and Eartheories claiming third. All three winners will attend the CoCreate Global Summit 2026 in London this November.
The competition carried a total prize pool of RM500,000, distributed among finalists to support their next stage of business growth. Malaysia joins Korea and Indonesia as new additions to the global competition this year.
Accio AI Platform Brings Agentic Automation To Malaysian SMEs

Accio is positioned as more than a productivity tool – Alibaba.com describes it as an intelligent agentic team designed to manage end-to-end business operations, covering market research, product planning, supplier sourcing, store management, and buyer outreach. The platform uses natural-language interaction and requires no programming expertise, making it accessible to SMEs without technical backgrounds.
The CoCreate Pitch 2026 competition itself was built around Accio, with participants using the AI agent to develop products, refine business concepts, and prepare pitch materials. This format reflects a broader shift in global trade toward AI-assisted business creation, allowing lean entrepreneurial teams to work more efficiently across key operational areas.
Alibaba.com also formalized a new Memorandum of Understanding with MATRADE at the event, with the partnership focusing on advancing digital trade and export readiness for Malaysian businesses, of which a key initiative being the development of a dedicated Halal Pavilion on Alibaba.com. The pavilion will showcase certified Malaysian Halal products to international buyers, targeting wider market recognition and sustainable trade expansion.
