Mastercard has launched the fourth edition of Innovation Circuit at its flagship Mastercard Experience Center in Singapore – running under the theme “Next Lap in Payments”, the Mastercard Innovation Circuit examines how agentic commerce, trusted digital identity, tokenization and AI-driven intelligence are converging to shape a new generation of secure, seamless payment experiences.

Flags Off For Mastercard Innovation Circuit In S’pore

The Singapore center is one of seven Mastercard Experience Centers worldwide, designed to allow financial institutions, fintechs, merchants, and partners to explore emerging payment technologies through interactive sessions. In particular, the event’s motor racing theme draws on Mastercard’s sponsorship of the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team.

The Innovation Circuit is organized into three sessions, and to follow the racing themes, they are referred to as “pitstops,” each focused on a different layer of the payments ecosystem.

In Igniting Innovation, participants explore trust and identity foundations through biometric onboarding flows, tokenized credential-sharing, and consent-driven identity models, illustrating how digital identity can allow consumers to authorize AI agents while retaining control over their data.

Shifting Gears follows a sports fan through an interactive commerce journey covering ticketing, merchandise, and payments, engaging with AI-powered shopping and concierge agents that can book tickets, deliver event alerts, and coordinate purchases across merchants and payment methods.

Powering Growth focuses on the data and intelligence layer underlying transactions, following a single data point from initiation through optimization to show how data, AI models, tokenization, and network intelligence can detect fraud signals and generate insights while preserving privacy and security.

Beyond this event, Mastercard has also announced plans to introduce Innovation Centers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Tokyo, Japan, later this year, with additional locations planned across Asia Pacific. The centers will be designed around immersive storytelling and collaborative testing environments shaped by local market needs.
