Samsung Malaysia has announced that MBSB Bank’s Visa Debit Card-i is now available on Samsung Wallet, allowing Galaxy device users to make contactless payments using their smartphones or compatible wearables.

With the card added to the platform, eligible Galaxy users can complete purchases at participating Visa merchants both locally and overseas by tapping their device. Samsung says transactions are protected through its security architecture and tokenization technology, which replaces card information with a unique digital token, with authentication verified through security features built into Galaxy devices.
“We’re pleased to welcome MBSB Bank’s Visa Debit Card-i to Samsung Wallet, giving even more Galaxy users access to a fast, seamless and secure payment experience,” said Matthew Ng, Head of Mobile eXperience Business of Samsung Malaysia Electronics.
To mark the integration, MBSB Bank is running a “Tap Smart. Win Big.” campaign that is currently ongoing until 31 August 2026 – customers who add their MBSB Bank Visa Debit Card-i to Samsung Wallet and complete their first eligible contactless transaction will receive an RM5 ZUS Coffee voucher; those spending a minimum of RM30 in a single eligible transaction will also be entered into a draw for a Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet.
