TM Aims To Upgrade Customer Experience With 2600MHz Spectrum

Telekom Malaysia has today announced of their commitment in enhancing customer experience with the 2600MHz spectrum band acquired from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

The telco company has accepted the offer from MCMC for a 20MHz spectrum block of the 2600MHz spectrum band via its subsidiary, Webe. It will be implemented from the 1st of July 2022, with total applicable fee of RM37 million over a period of five years.

The increased capacity will enable TM to provide seamless fixed and wireless access, and content to its retail and enterprise customers at home, office, or on the move

Aside from that, they’ve also said that with the allocation, it will allow TM to support the national agenda in delivering telecommunications coverage with high service quality, especially though the JENDELA and MyDIGITAL.
