Apple has just announced its latest in-house app called Apple Invites, designed for iPhone users to create and share custom invitations for various events. The app allows users to send invitations, manage RSVPs, contribute to Shared Albums, and engage with Apple Music playlists.

Users can customize invitations by selecting images from their photo library or choosing from a gallery of backgrounds representing different event themes, or tap into Apple Intelligence to generate custom images. Integrated features such as Maps and Weather provide guests with event directions and weather forecasts, while guests can also contribute photos and videos to a dedicated Shared Album within the invitation and collaborate on event playlists through Apple Music.

Hosts must have the iCloud+ subscription to create invitations – from there they have full control over event management, including tracking RSVPs, sharing invitations via links, and adjusting invitation details. Guests can view and respond to invitations through the iPhone app or web (for other devices) without requiring an iCloud+ subscription or Apple Account.

Apple Invites is available for free on the App Store for iPhone models running iOS 18 or later and can be accessed on the web; certain features that rely on Apple Intelligence will only be available on iPhone 15 Pro series and all iPhone 16 models.
