The latest update to the CoverScreen OS app by developer IJP adds mini phone functionality to the OPPO Find N2 Flip’s cover screen, allowing users to navigate, launch, and interact with apps just like on the main screen.

How Does CoverScreen OS Work on the OPPO Find N2 Flip?

IJP, the developer behind the popular CoverScreen OS app, has announced a new update that focuses on the OPPO Find N2 Flip. The app, which adds extra functionality to outer displays on Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip phones, now supports the large cover display on OPPO’s latest flip phone.

What sets this update apart is that it turns the screen into a miniature phone, letting you navigate through, launch, and interact with apps just like you would on the main screen. The update also works with most third-party app home screen widgets and comes with quick toggles, navigation gestures, notifications, and a powerful media screen with multiple sessions and additional controls.

According to the company, the latest update works smoothly, thanks to IJP ironing out the wrinkles from previous versions of their app. The app has been available since the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and later got an update for the Galaxy Z Flip 4. We will likely see support for other flip-style devices if it continues to do well.

If you own an OPPO Find N2 Flip and want to try out the app, the latest version is available in the Play Store. Watch the videos to see the app in action, and how the user swipes through apps, opens a YouTube video, and opens up Google Chrome to search for “OPPO.”

Pokdepinion: This looks like a fun little app to add a bit more functionality to the outer display. I don’t foresee it replacing the main display, sure, but it does add a bit of inconspicuousness to using a smartphone. Your smartphone is your own business but remember, use this wisely and don’t be a creep about it.
