Netflix Launches Downloads For You — Automatically Downloads Recommended Show Plus Movies
It was three years ago that Netflix introduced Smart Downloads which allows you to download shows before you go out and enjoy them on-the-go. Now it appears that they’ve launched Downloads For You, a new feature that helps you discover your next new favourite series or movies, whether you are connected or not.
Netflix Downloads For You launched
Netflix’s Downloads For You is a new feature that automatically downloads recommended shows or movies to your mobile device based on your tastes, ranging from comedies to horror as they seek to have something new always waiting for you.
If you are interested in the feature, there’s two steps that you need to follow:
- Go to the Downloads tab on your smartphone and toggle on Downloads For You
- Choose the amount of content you want downloaded to your device (1GB, 3GB, or 5GB) and click Turn On. The more space you allow, the more recommendations they will download for you

Pokdepinion: Sometimes, you just don’t what to watch anymore on Netflix, there’s too much shows (at least for me). I guess if I was on a long trip but don’t like to waste data (and decide what to watch), this is kind of a neat feature to have.
