Nothing Phone (1) Latest Software Update Offers UI and Charging Enhancements
Version 1.1.2 of the Nothing OS (1) for the Phone (1) is being released. Despite being a minor update, it reportedly gives the phone some helpful upgrades.
The custom schedule will now be enabled by default for the always-on display feature which indicates that the feature will shut off on its own at night. Although the user may still explicitly set this to always be on, it is no longer the default setting.
The fingerprint symbol can now be set to appear while the display is off and when you move the phone slightly thanks to this update. Not only that, the fingerprint sensor seems to operate a little quicker.
The update also makes promises about better charging efficiency and third-party charger compatibility. Furthermore, the update asserts to have fixed the Bluetooth codec problem and has improved stability, implemented general bug fixes, and UI detail optimization.
As stated by Gsmarena, the phone’s other problems, unfortunately, have not been fixed. The concerns with the audio quality are still evident and there are no signs of improvement in the face unlock.
Pokdepinion: Glad that the Nothing Phone (1) is fixing their software issues as promptly as possible. Despite the many backlashes about their quality and build after their launch, I do hope that the company will be able to solve the majority of the issues as soon as possible.
