Apple Music Expands Replay Feature With Monthly Recaps
Apple today announces an update to its music streaming service’s Replay feature, which provides insights into a user’s listening habits and history. Think of it like Apple’s version of Spotify Wrapped – except now select subscribers can review their listening sessions on a monthly basis.
The new monthly-based Replay feature is available starting from January this year, where users can check out their top songs, top artists, top albums, and various milestones. The top songs in the review will form a mix that updates weekly, and users can share the playlist with everyone else should they wish to. Note that a certain amount of listening minutes are required to establish a list, though the company did not specify the threshold.
Aside from that, Apple says an archive is also available for those who want to “relive the nostalgia” from their past listening sessions on Apple Music. Users can view their Replay statistics by visiting replay.music.apple.com after signing in with Email or Apple ID.
Pokdepinion: Seems like a feature similar to last.fm – perhaps Spotify and YouTube Music may respond?
