Microsoft and NVIDIA Signs 10-Year Deal Bringing Xbox PC Titles To GeForce NOW

Following a 10-year deal with Nintendo for Call of Duty titles, Microsoft is signing another deal with NVIDIA – this time for all games under its umbrella.

Microsoft and NVIDIA Signs 10-Year Deal Bringing Xbox PC Titles To GeForce NOW

In its rapid expansion to the gaming market, Microsoft has officially signed a 10-year deal with NVIDIA which will brought Xbox PC titles to NVIDIA’s cloud gaming platform, GeForce NOW. This will allow players to access their PC games in virtually any device, providing sufficient network quality. NVIDIA’s press release also noted that Call of Duty titles will be included as well – after Microsoft’s acquisition on Activision Blizzard is formally closed.

“Xbox remains committed to giving people more choice and finding ways to expand how people play,” said Phil Spencer, CEO of Xbox. “This partnership will help grow NVIDIA’s catalog of titles to include games like Call of Duty, while giving developers more ways to offer streaming games. We are excited to offer gamers more ways to play the games they love.”

The integration is currently in progress, which should mean that players who bought the game on Windows Store will have instant access to the game through GeForce NOW. NVIDIA says that “third-party partner titles” will be available, providing that the game publisher has granted relevant rights to do so. Those who own Xbox PC games on third-party clients such as Steam or Epic Games Store can stream their games through GeForce NOW as well.

Pokdepinion: Quite a big deal – considering the huge player base Microsoft currently have, this may be the one that makes cloud gaming popular (sorry, Stadia).
