The V50 introduces AI Aura Light Portrait 2.0, which is said to provide advanced virtual lighting with a 143x ultra-soft fill light; it also includes portrait lighting options such as Rembrandt Lighting for a three-dimensional effect and Butterfly Lighting for refined facial contours. The 50 MP ZEISS OIS All Main Camera features a mini gimbal system with CIPA 4.0 DSLR-Level Stabilization to minimize motion blur and improve image sharpness in low-light conditions.

Built with IP68 and IP69 certification, vivo says the V50 is capable of withstanding submersion in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for 30 minutes – elsewhere, the specs we know so far based on its global page includes Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 512GB storage, and 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging. We should be able to know the full specs available locally when the smartphone launches this week.

In conjunction with the launch, customers can purchase the device through a 0% instalment plan at vivo concept stores, starting from RM83.30 per month for the 12+256GB variant; a discount of RM100 is available for purchases made via SPayLater during the SPayLater Raya Campaign from 1 March to 30 April.

From 14 March to 20 March, the 12+512GB variant will be available for free with a Maxis Postpaid 199 plan, along with a free DJI Osmo Mobile SE while stocks last. A trade-in promotion at vivo concept stores from 22 March to 30 April offers up to RM400 in additional discounts for selected models.
