The LaLaport Transportation Hub (LTH) has officially launched at LaLaport BBCC in Kuala Lumpur, being the latest option for travelers primarily looking to move between KL and Singapore; the hub has been in partial operation since February 2026, with the recent launch officially opening the doors for Klang Valley residents as a secondary option to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) located in the capital’s outskirts.
LaLaport Transportation Hub Now Open
Located on Level LG1 at the East Atrium of LaLaport BBCC, the LTH is a fully sheltered facility featuring 11 bus bays and a dedicated air-conditioned waiting lounge. It is equipped with both physical counters and self-service ticketing machines, as well as a Passenger Information Display System (PIDS) that provides real-time bus schedule updates for travelers.
Passengers at the hub have direct access to a range of essential services within the mall, including ATMs, money changers, luggage lockers, 24-hour security monitoring, complimentary Wi-Fi, restrooms, and accessible facilities for senior citizens and persons with disabilities. A neat bonus of being located inside a shopping is, well, you get approximately 300 stores in walking distance ranging from F&B outlets, retail shops, and entertainment options, which should give you plenty of options in case boredom hits you before you hit the road.
At launch, around 30 bus operators are expected to use the LaLaport Transportation Hub as a primary transit point, specifically for cross-border Kuala Lumpur-Singapore routes. The hub also offers dedicated shuttle van services to KLIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 as an alternative for airport transport (in case they need something nicer than ERL-operated KLIA Express trains, that is).
In terms of rail connectivity, LTH offers direct pedestrian access to the RapidKL Hang Tuah LRT and Monorail stations, with nearby interchange on MRT Kajang and Putrajaya lines; being smack dab in the middle of KL city center, this gives passengers plenty of options to move around the city without needing to exit to the street. The Boleh-Boleh Ride on-demand shuttle service is also available within LaLaport BBCC, and dedicated e-hailing pick-up and drop-off zones are available at the Pudu Entrance and Hang Tuah Entrance.
The hub’s design draws from Mitsui Fudosan’s experience developing integrated transportation hubs in Japan, including Tokyo Midtown Yaesu and the ongoing Tsukiji redevelopment project. Day-to-day operations are handled by Asia Success Resources (ASR), an operator with prior experience managing transport facilities at KLIA Terminal 2. Functional planning and the overall design concept were overseen by Semba Corporation.
