SNK has announced that Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Season 3 “Destined for Revenge” kicks off on July 23, 2026. The new season continues the game’s post-launch monthly update model, bringing fresh DLC characters, new stages, and competitive content to the roster throughout the remainder of the year.
Fatal Fury City of the Wolves Season 3 Character Lineup
Season 3 replaces Season 2’s Legends Unleashed theme and introduces six DLC characters across a six-month window, with two fighters still under wraps. Rick Strowd arrives first when the season launches in July, followed by Duck King in August and Kim Kaphwan in September. A mystery fighter is slated for October, Laocorn joins the roster in November, and a second unannounced character closes out the season in December. Further details on the mystery characters will be revealed closer to their respective launch dates.
Alongside the Season 3 launch, SNK is introducing a significant change to how previously released DLC characters are sold. Characters from Season Pass 1 (Andy Bogard, Ken, Joe Higashi, Chun-Li, and Mr. Big) and a selection from Season Pass 2 are now available for individual purchase at $4.99 each, rather than being locked to season pass bundles exclusively.
The Legend Edition, which bundles the base game with Season Passes 1 and 2, has also been repriced at a lower point. A new Revenge Edition is available at $49.99, covering the base game alongside all three season passes. Season Pass 3 on its own is priced at $19.99 and covers all six Season 3 characters. Standard Edition remains at $19.99 for the base game only.
The Season 3 content of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves launches on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and the Epic Games Store on July 23 at 12 AM PDT. The Steam version follows the same day at 10 AM PDT.
