Honor of Kings (HOK) is marking Merdeka with a collaboration featuring Kisah Bawah Tanah, a Malaysian animated series inspired by local and Southeast Asian folklore, alongside the return of the Malaysia Honor of Kings League (MKL) Fall Season 2026.
Honor of Kings x Kisah Bawah Tanah
The folklore collaboration runs from 31 August to 10 September 2026, introducing characters inspired by ghosts and mythical creatures from the series into the game.
Created by Animasia Studio and Spaceboy Studios, Kisah Bawah Tanah is brought into HOK through a limited-time event featuring its cast of characters. Players can unlock two exclusive emotes (“Xtra Power” and “67”), five exclusive voice packs, one exclusive announcer pack, and an Epic Skin Selection Chest upon collecting all 20 collaboration characters.
To participate, players log in and play matches to earn search chances, then visit The Mart to search for hidden characters among the racks, encountering various ghosts and mythical creatures at random until all featured characters are collected for reward redemption.
MKL Fall Season 2026 Format & Schedule
The MKL Fall Season 2026, held under the theme “Next Level,” features ten teams: Aurora Gaming, CRIT VIP, Geekay Esports, ROC Esports, SLDTE Gaming, Selangor Eagles Esports, Twisted Minds, Reach The Peak Gaming, XDG Esports and Zem Nothing Syndicated, competing for a share of a USD60,000 prize pool.
The league is now ongoing following the opening match on 27 August, concluding with the Grand Finals at JAM PJ on 8 November. The championship weekend will also host the Grand Finals of the Honor of Kings Campus Series (KCS) and Honor of Kings Women’s Series 4 (KWS4) alongside MKL.
