Sennheiser has launched three new audio products in Malaysia: the MOMENTUM 5 Wireless over-ear headphones, MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 earbuds, and ACCENTUM Clip open-ear earbuds. All three products are available now in Malaysia through Sennheiser’s official online store, as well as via Sennheiser’s official Shopee and Lazada stores and authorized retailers nationwide.
Sennheiser MOMENTUM 5 Wireless
The Sennheiser MOMENTUM 5 Wireless is the latest evolution of Sennheiser’s flagship over-ear wireless headphone series – at its core is a 42mm transducer manufactured at the brand’s facility in Tullamore, tuned for full-bodied sound with dynamic bass. The headphones carry Hi-Res Audio certification and support Snapdragon Sound technology with aptX Lossless codec for high-resolution wireless streaming.
Its ANC has been significantly upgraded, now featuring four microphones per side – double the previous count – for improved reduction of ambient voice chatter and aircraft cabin noise, with Sennheiser claiming up to three times more effective ANC against surrounding voices. A transparency mode also benefits from the expanded microphone array for more natural audio pass-through.
Spatial audio support is built in, with Dolby Atmos and head-tracking to be enabled via a firmware update through the Smart Control Plus app for compatible content. The headphones ship with Bluetooth 5.4 and are slated to support Bluetooth 6.0 through a future firmware update.
Battery life stands at up to 57 hours with ANC enabled – a key addition this generation is a user-replaceable 700mAh battery that can be swapped using a standard Phillips-head screwdriver (thank EU for that). The carrying case has been redesigned to be 20% smaller, where you’ll also find a USB-C charging cable and a 3.5mm analog audio cable. The Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 earbuds, meanwhile, are powered by a 7mm TrueResponse dynamic transducer (also manufactured in Tullamore), and support aptX Lossless via Bluetooth 6.0 for bit-perfect hi-res audio transmission up to 24-bit and 96kHz. Snapdragon Sound technology is also present, alongside a low-latency mode for gaming.
ANC has been improved with a revised adaptive hybrid system featuring a four-microphone array per earbud and an automatic anti-wind mode. Voice calls are handled by a combination of six microphones and two bone-conduction voice accelerometers with an AI speech-extraction algorithm, engaging all eight system sensors for voice isolation in noisy environments. Dolby Atmos with interactive head-tracking is supported for compatible content.
Like the over-ear model, the MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 introduces user-replaceable batteries in both the earbuds and the Qi-enabled wireless charging case. Battery life is rated at 12 hours per charge, with up to 40 hours total using the case; an 8-minute quick charge delivers up to one hour of playback. The redesigned housing uses an aerodynamic, fin-less shape derived from thousands of ear models, rated more comfortable than the prior generation by 73% of testers, and carries an IP54 rating for dust, sweat, and splash resistance.
Its connectivity features include native support for Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and multipoint switching, while a selectable robust mode helps maintain signal stability in crowded wireless environments. The Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 is priced at RM1,699 and comes in Graphite, Copper, Cream, Denim, and Lavender colorways.
Sennheiser ACCENTUM Clip
Lastly, the Sennheiser ACCENTUM Clip takes a different approach with a C-bridge open-ear design, where each earbud weighs 6.8 grams and uses a flexible silicone bridge for a secure fit, with an IP54 rating for dust and sweat resistance. Battery life is up to nine hours per charge, extending to 36 hours total with the charging case; a 10-minute fast charge over USB-C delivers two hours of playback.
Audio is driven by a 12mm dynamic driver tuned for clarity and punchy bass, and the earbuds are Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified. A Dynamic EQ feature compensates for tonal shifts at lower playback volumes, while codec support includes SBC, AAC, and LDAC for high-bitrate streaming on compatible devices. It’s based on Bluetooth 6.0, with features such as multipoint connectivity and fast pairing with Google Fast Pair support. A dual-microphone system with AI noise reduction handles call clarity.
The ACCENTUM Clip is priced at RM999 and is available in Black and Cream colorways.
