Hyundai Motor Malaysia has officially launched the new STARGAZER MPV in Malaysia, with three distinct variants on offer. The lineup comprises the Style, Prime, and X variants, each offering different combinations of seating, safety technology, and cabin features to suit a range of family needs.
Hyundai STARGAZER: Specs & Features
From the entry-level, the Hyundai STARGAZER Style, priced at RM99,800, starts the range with a seven-seat 2+3+2 layout, LED headlamps with H-signature daytime running lights, an 8-inch multimedia player, a 4.2-inch TFT LCD Meter Color Cluster, and 16-inch alloy wheels.
The Prime variant, at RM109,800, steps up with dual 10.25-inch displays, Hyundai SmartSense advanced driver assistance technologies (ADAS 2.0), and six airbags for added occupant protection. It also retains the seven-seat configuration and gains roof-mounted rear air-conditioning vents along with wireless charging and an Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold.
Finally, the Hyundai STARGAZER X variant, launched at RM121,800, introduces a more distinctive character with SUV-inspired styling elements including sporty front and rear bumpers, a rear spoiler, black Hyundai emblems, and black gloss alloy wheels. It adopts a 2+2+2 six-seat captain-chair configuration, full leatherette seats, Shift-By-Wire transmission control, and a floating center console with a detachable tray.
Across the lineup, Hyundai SmartSense on the Prime and X variants covers Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Lane Following Assist. Cabin convenience features across variants include multiple USB ports, a cargo floor box with lid, and seat-back tables.
Ownership Packages
During the launch period, Hyundai Motor Malaysia is offering an Early Bird Value Package priced at RM4,600 (inclusive of the RM88 booking fee). The package includes eight times or four years of free after-sales service, plus a RM1,000 All-Star Reward for existing Hyundai owners who purchase the new STARGAZER.
All new Hyundai STARGAZER owners are covered under an 8-year or 160,000km myHyundaiCare warranty program. Hyundai is also introducing a STARGAZER Resale Value Protection program, which guarantees a predetermined resale value when customers upgrade to a new Hyundai vehicle – the guaranteed resale values are set at 70% in the third year (up to 60,000km), 60% in the fourth year (up to 80,000km), and 50% in the fifth year (up to 100,000km).
Pokdepinion: It barely looks like an MPV even though it technically is one. Looking like some kind of weird MPV/SUV blend which… looks odd.
