Formula V Line has launched the Crystal Z3 series, a new line of panoramic ATX mid-tower PC cases featuring a 90-degree rotatable rear PCIe bracket and a bottom air intake design. First previewed at COMPUTEX 2026, the Crystal Z3 series is now available with the Crystal Z3 Plus models in Black and White, each bundled with three PA2 120 mm ARGB PWM fans.
Formula V Line Crystal Z3 Series
The Crystal Z3 series supports ATX, Micro ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, with GPU clearance up to 425mm and CPU cooler support up to 180mm. The chassis accommodates a top radiator of up to 360mm and can hold up to eight 120mm fans in total. Storage options include two 2.5-inch SSDs and two 3.5-inch HDDs simultaneously, while front I/O connectivity covers USB-A ports, a USB-C port, and a headphone jack.
The rotatable rear PCIe bracket allows a graphics card to be mounted horizontally in the traditional orientation or rotated to present it vertically through the tempered glass panel (PCIe riser not included). One notable constraint of the Crystal Z3 design is the power supply length limit of 140mm, including cables – this is a direct consequence of the bottom intake and fan positions built into the lower panel. Builders should verify their PSU and cable assembly length before purchasing the case.
Intake vents run along the front and side of the lower panel, directing airflow to the bottom fan positions while preserving the clean glass-forward exterior. The bottom fan bracket can be removed after loosening two screws, allowing the nylon dust filter to be cleaned without removing the installed fans. Quick-release tool-free latches are fitted to the front and both side panels, with removable filters also at the top and side air intakes. The three PA2 fans included are positioned with two at the bottom and one at the rear, which runs on 4-pin PWM and 3-pin ARGB connections.
The Crystal Z3 Plus Black is priced at US$79.99 and the Crystal Z3 Plus White at US$89.99. Both models are available in the United States through Newegg; availability in other markets is handled by Formula V Line’s regional partners.
Pokdepinion: A rotatable GPU bracket is cool, but that 140mm PSU limit is going to catch a lot of people off guard.
