Lenovo Malaysia has officially launched a new tablet lineup in the country, covering five models across the Yoga, Idea Tab, Tab, and Legion series. All five tablets are now available at Lenovo Exclusive Stores nationwide.
New Lenovo Tablet Lineup

The flagship model in the lineup is the Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and features a 13-inch 4K PureSight Pro display designed for illustration, editing, and media work, plus Harman Kardon speakers and compatibility with the Tab Pen Pro 2 stylus. An all-in-one magnetic clamshell keyboard is also available to convert the tablet into a more conventional productivity machine.
A step below in size, the Yoga Tab Gen 2 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset and weighs just 480g. Its 11-inch display and detachable 2-in-1 keyboard pack make it a portable option for users who sketch, take notes, or work on the move. It supports the same Tab Pen Pro 2 accessory as its larger sibling.

The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is positioned as a “premium study companion” for students – it is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, and it is also the first Lenovo tablet to feature Lenovo’s Qira AI assistant (arriving later in 2026). Key features include live lecture transcription, AI-generated summaries, and a dedicated Smart Key on its 2-in-1 keyboard for quick AI text generation. The 13-inch 3.5K PureSight Pro display supports Dolby Vision, and a matte anti-glare option is also available. It comes with a quad JBL speaker system, plus a 10,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

For users focused on media consumption, the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 centers its identity around audio and display. The 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD panel supports Dolby Vision and HDR10, with up to 800 nits in High Brightness Mode for outdoor use. A JBL 9-unit Pro speaker system tuned with Dolby Atmos is the headline feature, and a built-in Bluetooth speaker mode lets the tablet operate as a standalone audio device. (Note that this model has been launched in June this year, but price has since been raised due to RAM shortage, which isn’t a surprise at this point.)

Rounding out the lineup is the Legion Tab Gen 5, and it’s the most powerful of the bunch: it runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with up to 16GB of LPDDR5T-10667 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, along with an 8.8-inch 3K display runs at 165Hz, and a 9,000mAh battery pairs with 68W fast charging. The updated Legion Coldfront Vapor cooling system delivers up to 32% better heat dissipation compared to the previous-generation Legion Tab. AI-powered audio enhancement and noise cancellation via Lenovo AI Engine+ are also onboard.
All five tablets are now available at Lenovo Exclusive Stores in Malaysia. The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 starts at RM3,999, while the Yoga Tab Gen 2 and Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 are both priced from RM2,899. The Tab Plus Gen 2 starts at RM2,299, and the Legion Tab (8.8″, 5) is priced from RM3,399.
