Anker today announced several products launching in Malaysia, consisting of power banks and audio products under its MagGo and Zolo series (power banks), and the Soundcore sub-brand. All products announced today will be available in Malaysia in the coming weeks.
Anker MagGo & Zolo Series
Starting with what Anker is best known for, the power banks. The company introduced three new products under this category: the MagGo Powerbank (Qi 2), Zolo Wireless Powerbank, and Zolo Powerbank. The MagGo comes in 10,000mAh capacity with Qi 2-based wireless charging technology, capable of supplying 15W to iPhones (via MagSafe) and 30W to other devices. Four color options are available, each costing RM369 and will be available from December 1, 2024 onwards.
For the Zolo series, three versions are available: wireless, wired (10,000mAh) and wired (20,000mAh). The wireless-capable can supply 15W wirelessly and 30W via the built-in USB-C cable, while the wired version retain the same wired charging capabilities and a built-in kickstand. For availability, the wireless model will be available December 1st, costing RM169; the wired variants are priced at RM149 and RM189 respectively, available December 7th.
Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro
Moving on to Anker’s new audio gear, first up is the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro. Onboard the earbuds are six microphones and a barometric pressure sensor to “capture and isolate noise surrounding the user’s head”, courtesy of Anker’s Adaptive ANC 3.0 algorithm. The charging case comes with a display (JBL had something similar too) that allows for quick controls by swiping the screen.
Audio is delivered through a 10.5mm woofer and a 4.6mm titanium tweeter in a coaxial design dubbed “ACAA acoustic architecture”, and Android users can enable Sony’s proprietary LDAC codec to deliver hi-res audio wirelessly. In terms of battery life, Anker says users can expect 10 hours of playtime (40 hours including the case) with ANC off, turning on ANC reduces both figures by one-fourth (7.5 hours and 30 hours, respectively).
The Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro will be available starting December 1st, priced at RM699.
Soundcore Select 4 Go
Finally, the Soundcore Select 4 Go speaker is touted with 20 hours of battery life from its 2,600mAh battery, IP67 ingress protection, in a package weighing just 220 grams. The speaker outputs 5 watts of power, and its EQ can be customized via the Anker Soundcore companion app. You can get one of these in various colorways for just RM109 – alternatively, you can purchase the Select 4 Go for RM99 at authorized retailers and Anker’s official stores (Shopee and Lazada) from 7-17 December 2024.
