Garmin Introduces New Edge 130 Plus & Edge 1030 Plus GPS Cycling Computers

The folks at Garmin Malaysia has today introduced their latest GPS cycling computers in the form of the new Edge 130 Plus and Edge 1030 Plus.

The Garmin Edge 130 Plus comes with a button design and a 1.8-inch display. You can use it to sync both indoor and outdoor workouts automatically from Garmin Connect or other training apps. With it, it provides data to provide dynamic performance insights, including VO2 max and heart rate. Its ClimbPro feature allows riders to see the remaining ascent and grade for each of their climb when following a route or course.

On the other hand is the Garmin Edge 1030 Plus which comes with GPS, GLONASS and Galileo satellites plus a built-in altimeter to provide greater coverage and accurate ride data.

The Course Creator in Garmin Connect provides you the best routes that are aggregated from those most traveled by other cyclists.

Aside from providing VO2 max and heart rate insights, it also checks your heart rate zones as well as calories burned.

Text messages will appear on the screen so you can view them at a glance while riding. Other than that, it comes with a weather page, which you can probably guess what it does. Pair the Edge 1030 Plus with a compatible smartphone, it will then upload rides to the Garmin Connect online fitness community.

Not to forget, it features up to 12 hours of battery life while on GPS and up to 10 hours when you use two sensors with the device.

Available already, you can get the Garmin Edge 130 Plus at RM999 and the Edge 1030 Plus bundle at RM3,399.
