SHARGE’s Shargeek 170 Is A Prism-Shaped Power Bank That Ticks Lots Of Boxes
SHARGE’s products are usually full of creative twists, and the new Shargeek 170 is taking things a bit further than its predecessors (Shargeek 100 & 130). Instead of a block-shaped look, the Shargeek 170 adopts a new ‘pentahedral’ shape, and healthy amounts of transparency around the shell.
For starters, it comes with a 24,000mAh – still small enough to be legally allowed to take onboard a plane – and it can output a combined 170 watts of power in full load. There are three ports: two USB-C and a single USB-A, and the USB-C ports can act as both input and output with up to 140W of power delivery. When used for charging the power bank itself, 0-50% takes 20 minutes, SHARGE claims. It also supports IP66 water resistance, good for those out and about.
The company also touts its battery longevity, stating the “EV-grade” battery is capable of holding 80% of its original capacity after 800+ charge cycles. For charging small devices such as smartwatches and earbuds, there’s also a ‘Low-current Mode’ that prevents overcharging these devices due to their limited battery capacity.
The SHARGE Shargeek 170 will go on sale starting this Christmas Day (25 Dec 2023) exclusively through Shopee store and SHARGE Official Store with the price of RM1,299.
