DJI Hosted Media Experience Day For Mavic 3 Pro At Gamuda Cove, Selangor
With the launch of the new Mavic 3 Pro tri-camera drone, DJI hosted the Media Experience Day event on Gamuda Cove wetlands, Banting, Selangor earlier this week to let the press and content creators try out what the new Mavic is capable of.
The new model features three cameras, with the main shooter courtesy of a 4/3 Hasselblad sensor, which supports 12-bit RAW photos and 12.8 stops of native dynamic range, plus two tele cameras alongside it (with 24mm, 70mm and 166mm focal length). It can shoot at 5.1K 50FPS or DCI 4K at 120FPS in 10-bit D-Log M color mode. Meanwhile, the 70mm tele camera is packed with a 1/1.3″ sensor and 3x optical zoom, with 48/12MP image and 4K 60FPS video support. The third camera meanwhile is capable of 7x optical zoom with 28x hybrid zoom.
All three cameras support Apple ProRes 422 HQ, Apple ProRes 422 and Apple ProRes 422 LT encoding; it also comes with 1TB onboard SSD as well as 10GbE LAN and Wi-Fi 6 rated for 80MB/s transfer speeds. The onboard battery allows up to 43 minutes of flight time, with DJI’s Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing tech and transmission range of up to 15km.
DJI offers four options for the Mavic 3 Pro, with the standalone model costing RM9,799 – which are now available on DJI online stores on Shopee and Lazada, as well as various authorized retail channels.
