New Poly Studio P Series ups your personal conferencing game!
With most of the global workforce working from home, Poly has announced the new Poly Studio P Series, which is the industry’s first pro-grade personal video conferencing equipment. There’s the Poly Studio P5 Webcam, Poly Studio P5 Kit, Poly Studio P15 Personal Video Bar and Poly Studio P21 Personal Meeting Display.
The Poly Studio P5 is a personal webcam that’s capable of 1080p and 4x digital zoom. That may sound like par for the course, but Poly integrated a directional microphone and also USB connectivity for headsets for easy plug-and-play connectivity. If you are worred about your privacy, you can also make use of the built-in privacy shutter to block out the camera when you aren’t using it.
For those who want a better experience, the Poly Studio P5 Kit offers the Studio P5 webcam along with a personal device. Choose from four combinations from the Voyager and Poly Blackwire families, as well as kits with Poly Sync.
Next up, the Poly Studio P15 is personal video bar that includes a 4K camera as well as an integrated speaker and microphone array. The camera is capable of automatic camera framing to let you move around without worrying about whether you are in the frame, while the microphone array packs NoiseBlockAI technology to remove unwanted noises from getting in the way between you and the people on the other end.
The Poly Studio P21 combines a 21″ display, webcam, speakers and microphones into a single device. Poly calls it a video conferencing display, and it even comes with adjustable dynamic ambient lighting to illuminate your face in darker conditions. Last but not least, its base is also a wireless charging pad to give your smartphone (or mouse) a quick juice up. The Poly Studio P21 connects to your PC via a single USB cable, which eliminates the need for messy cables just to hook up a webcam, display and microphone to your system.
All the members of the Poly Studio P series are certified to work seamlessly with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, GoTo by LogMeIn and StarLeaf. Poly is also providing the Poly Lens device management service. On top of providing users with tips on how to best use the devices, you can also gain insight and manage a remote workforce from the cloud. IT managers can also manage data and insight for voice, video and headsets.
On top of that, you can get the Poly+ subscription that will provide 24/7 tech support for your Poly Studio P device, and an extended 3-year warranty with overnight device replacement to minimize downtime.
Pokdepinion: I wonder if the Poly Studio P15 can beat our Logitech Brio 4K camera and Audio Technica AT2020 mic for our livestreams…
